During visiting the Fosdem 2016 in Brussels, a group of people discussed with Daniel Pocock about organizing a Debian-related event during FOSSASIA in Singapore. Daniel started with emailing potentially interested DDs and we set up this wiki page. We believe many DDs would love to join a DebConf in Asia :) For many years a number of Debian contributors wanted to make a follow up to the successful Mini Debconf at the FOSSASIA Summit in Vietnam. After discussions at the Debian conference in Japan 2016, and during meetings for [[https://fosdem.org|FOSDEM 2017]] we finally confirmed a number of DDs and friends of Debian to join the FOSSASIA Singapore summit.
