Sponsorship is slow! How can I upload my package to Debian myself?
If your package is in the pool already and you got sponsored for a few times you can apply to become a DebianMaintainer - read on there for further information. You could also consider becoming a DebianDeveloper so that you can help sponsor packages or work on convincing more existing DebianDevelopers to do sponsorship.
