Debian GNU/kFreeBSD on the desktop status

Wheezy

GNOME is the default desktop when installing Debian GNU/Linux, but GNU/kFreeBSD instead installs XFCE by default if "Graphical desktop environment" is selected in the installer.

gdm3 and the GNOME 'fallback mode' desktop work normally as shown in these screenshots; all the default applications seem to be working:
