Debian > Debian GNU > Debian GNU/Hurd
This page references all the things we want to do in priority.
- Good archive coverage.
- We're at 80.5%, kfreebsd was at 85% when it entered wheezy. We can probably do better with
- mono
- fpc
- nodejs
Try to fix the top of http://people.debian.org/~sthibault/graph-total-top.txt
- We're at 80.5%, kfreebsd was at 85% when it entered wheezy. We can probably do better with
- Up-to-dateness.
- We have reached 98.25%, we should get better, like at least 98.5%.
Either fix or remove packages from http://people.debian.org/~sthibault/out_of_date.txt
so that https://buildd.debian.org/stats/graph2-ports-week-big.png improves
- The rest has a lot of patches, some build failures still need investigation.
- debian-installer
- No known issue
Be able to install from official mirrors
isc-dhcp, now fixed
d-i daily builds
- debian-cd daily builds
- Depends on a Jessie dist
- buildd
ironforge.sceen.net
- rossini.debian.net (very slow hardware: Atom)
mahler.debian.net
bach.debian.net & mozart.debian.net, hard disk seems dead.
security
DSA
- wants port to be release-considered first.
Get Xorg + gnome/kde/xfce/lxde (lxde is working, xfce should work, kde is missing working dbus (due to local socket auth and bugs in select() cornercases)) + some webbrowser working (iceweasel 31 works, patch available for fixing https in 739658).
No more binaries built in "use debian-ports" era (http://lists.debian.org/debian-hurd/2013/07/msg00014.html):
- Basic ACPI support
Poweroff is now supported
- DSA concerns
Network support
- linux 2.6.32 drivers.
Memory leak issues
Fixed by rbraun's patches, > 2 weeks buildd uptime now (reboots now due to erratic build scripts (e.g. make -j), or kernel / core system upgrades)
Firewall support
puppet support
SATA support
proper dhcp support in installed system
use ifup/ifdown instead of translators entry
Switch by default to plain sysv startup
fix "su" to root discrepancy (PATH does not include sbin etc.).
