In this page there's a list of the already scheduled Training Sessions organized by the Debian Women project.
These Training Sessions will be held on our IRC channel (#debian-women on irc.debian.org) by experienced community members. The main goal of this initiative is to encourage more people, and specifically women, to contribute to Debian while introducing them to different aspects of the Debian Project.
Sessions are open to everybody, regardless of gender or previous involvments in the community.
This sessions aren't organized for women as a sort of special class, but are organized by Debian Women project. Are open to everybody. And will be held on Debian Women channel for two reasons:
- are organized by Debian Women, so it seems very reasonable to hold it on our IRC channel
- the sessions are also a great moment to balance and diversify the community because very different people can attend to them.
