DebConf10
The Debian-NYC team was successful in getting the bid for DebConf10, in 2010, for New York City. Our planning is occurring via the DebConf wiki. We are eager for volunteers of all types, whether Debian-affiliated already or not. See the DebConf wiki page for details. There is a separate (but heavily overlapping) DebConf10 mailing list and IRC channel.
Debian Workshops
We (?MrBeige, so far) are (is trying) starting (to start) a series of Debian Workshops to help build the NYC Debian community.
Please see /Workshops, or go to /Workshops/1 for the upcoming workshop.

Possible workshop locations: CSdept, Lime, ABCNoRio, IBM, Google, NYPLs, eyebeam, SFLC
Visiting NYC
As part of our plan to take over the world, we encourage visitors. If you'll be around the area, let us know by mail or IRC (above). We may have a social/keysigning party while you are here.
