Debian Releases > Debian Lenny
The current DebianStable distribution was developed under the code name Lenny. It was released on Feb 15th, 2009 as Debian GNU/Linux 5.0, prior to which it was the DebianTesting distribution.

Architectures
- New ARM EABI port, "armel"
Lenny is officially supported on the following architectures : alpha, amd64, arm, armel, hppa, i386, ia64, mips, mipsel, powerpc, s390, sparc. (see Lenny's release page, criteria, and status).
The ARM port is deprecated
