The Toulouse MiniDebConf 2024 will take place during the Capitole du Libre event on November 16th and 17th 2024. (Saturday 16th, Sunday 17th)

« Capitole du Libre » is one of the biggest french free software event between users, organizations and developers. It homes stands, talks, workshops, technical or not, just like FOSDEM but user-oriented (except technical rooms).

Code of Conduct
Like any other DebConf (and a growing number of events) we have a Code of Conduct to help making this event a safe place for everyone.
We chose the DebConf Code of Conduct, itself based on the general Debian Code of Conduct.
The names of people in charge of enforcing the CoC and how to contact them will be given explicitly by email, right before the conference. There will be at least 2 people, english and french speaking, including a woman and a man, and probably a few other people to assist them.

Talk and workshop proposals
Deadline to submit your talk: October 7th 2024 You can also submit a lightning talk, see below
In order to propose a talk, please email to the public mailing list minidebconf@france.debian.net with copy to orga-minidebconf@france.debian.net ; your email message should provide the following information:
- The speaker's preferred name
- Their location (for travel budget considerations)
- Their affiliation (institution and/or project)
- The suggested talk topic
- Date/time desiderata
- Language
- Brief biography (50-100 words) as it relates to the suggested topic
- The choice between 20 or 40 minutes duration
Lightning talks
You can submit a lightning talk! There is no deadline for that, but one week before the event will be great 
Lightning talks are talk of ~10 min where the speaker introduce quickly their project or ideas. Lightning talks can be in French or English. The presenter can make few slides to support the talk.
The Lightning talks will be on Sunday afternoon.
Please write down your talk if you're interested.
