Mini-DebConf Marseille will take place on May 25th/26th 2019.
More information on http://minidebconf-mrs.debian.net/.
A Key signing party will be held. See the details on the wiki page.
Location
Marseille (France), at "La Maison du Chant" (49 rue Chape, 13004 Marseille, France).
See below for transport instructions and directions.
Contact
The https://france.debian.net/mailman/listinfo/minidebconf mailing list is the safest way to receive important information (before and during the event). The list is publicly archived and subscription are open to everybody.
An IRC channel is available : #debconf-marseille on irc.debian.org. There is also a Matrix bridge.
The organization team can be reached directly by mail : <orga-minidebconf AT france DOT debian DOT net> (it's a private mailing list).
We have Twitter and Mastodon accounts where we'll post news and information.
Code of Conduct
Like any other DebConf (and a growing number of events) we have a Code of Conduct to help making this event a safe place for everyone.
We chose the DebConf Code of Conduct, itself based on the general Debian Code of Conduct.
The names of people in charge of enforcing the CoC and how to contact them will be given explicitly by email, right before the conference. There will be at least 2 people, english and french speaking, including a woman and a man, and probably a few other people to assist them.
Participants
Registration should be done with a form on the website: https://minidebconf-mrs.debian.net/#registration
Optionally you can indicate your participation here and on the list (if you have problem to create an account, you can send instead an email to <orga-minidebconf AT france DOTdebian DOT net> and we will add you):

How to come to Marseille?
By plane
You can fly to "Aéroport Marseille Provence" (MRS). There are frequent shuttles to the train station.
By train
You can go to "Marseille Saint-Charles" train station. It's at walking distance from many hotels, touristic places and the conference venue (20 minutes).
By road
You can aim for "Marseille". The venue's address is "La Maison du Chant, 49 rue Chape, 13004 Marseille" (43.300563, 5.392600). There are parking lots related to public transportation, but they're not easy to use if you don't already have a subscription. On the weekend you can find free parking spaces outside the city center, near a subway station.
Public transportation in Marseille
CityMapper doesn't yet cover Marseille, but GoogleMaps (kind of) does.
The transportation company RTM has many options to go to the venue :
- Tram line T2, "Longchamp" or "Cinq Avenues" stations, then 7 minutes walk
- Bus line 81, "Liberation St Vincent de Paul" station, then 2 minutes walk
- Subway: line 1, "Cinq-Avenues Longchamp" station, then 7 minutes walk
