Boothplan

The boothplan is available via http://wiki.debian.org/DebianEventsDe/2010/LinuxTag#BoothShifts

We have some holes left in the plan on Friday and Saturday so if you have some time left please add yourself to the plan.

If you are not able to do a shift, please contact me as soon as possible!

Some notes for the shift (most stolen from http://wiki.debian.org/DebianEventsHowto):

The Booth

Linuxtag compiled a project survival guide which may help you to survive the Linuxtag: http://www.linuxtag.org/2010/dl/projects2010/Survival%20guide2010.pdf

How to behave

* Openness: smile, look at people, show interest, start conversations, take

* If there is a longer discussion take people to the side so you have some

* Do not block demos/the video projector * Move breaks, private work and discussions off the booth. If there is space

* Be aware that as long as you are at the booth you are representing Debian and

* Be friendly and polite, not only to visitors but also among your fellow booth

* Take care not to overtax new users, adopt to their level * If you do not know something, say so. Don't make up stuff, if you are

* when women visit the booth, don't stare or flirt, no "funny comments".

There is also an FAQ which may help you to survive your shift - I recommend reading it before: http://wiki.debian.org/DebianEventsFaqs.
