Hello fellow Mini Deb Camp Daytip Companions : )
After the morning inside technorama and a city tour it is time for one of the reasons that many come to switzerland for in the first place: Some natural beauty experience within it's diverse landscapes. Welcome to our hike to a tranquil space to barbecue at the local river töss, just below Winterthur's local castle Kyburg. The hiking route is very beginner friendly and lasts for about 45 minutes. Once arrived, we will set up a fireplace and grill plus have the oportunity to swim.
Please bring along:
- trash bags for anything to throw away
- drinks and food (there will be a grill with wood available)
- swimming equiptment, snorchel, towel or whatever you may feel right for going into the water (If you need sunscreen: please either use what does not poison the environment or don't go into the water - there is some available at Rägeboge next to the train station.)

To get to start of the hike:
Take a bus to Schwimmbad Töss and walk from there to starting point OSM Directions (9 minutes on foot)
Shopping in Migrol (petrol station) is possible right across the busstop Schwimmbad Töss or you can find a bigger assortement of daily food and supplies behind the migrol petrol station. OSM Directions
Walk from the Kadettenhütte is only 10 minutes OSM Directions
* if you find some rental scooters somewhere in the city or rental bikes somewhere they will also bring you to the starting point of our hike but no further. There is a parking area where we start.
