Dates

  • MiniDebCamp: August 6th and 7th (organized and unorganized hacking)

  • MiniDebConf: August 8th and 9th (presentations and more hacking)

We will have access to the venue on August 5th if you wish to arrive early and help with the setup.

Venue

The event will take place at Concordia University, at the John Molson School of Business.

The venue is right next to the Guy-Concordia subway station, on the Green line.

We have rented the following rooms, on the third floor of the building:

  • MB-3.435 (conference room)
  • MB-3.430 (Hacklab)

The rooms will be accessible from 9:00 to 22:30. On the 9th, you'll need to vacate before 17:00.

Accommodation

We do not provide accommodation and you will need to find a place to stay yourself.

Here are a few recommendations:

Food

The venue is in downtown Montreal and there are a lot of different food options at walking distance.

Video Streaming and remote participation

You will be able to livestream the talks on https://video.debconf.org. The final videos will eventually be published on the Debian Video Archive and on Youtube.

For remote participation you can use IRC on irc.oftc.net by joining the channel
