Dates

We will have access to the venue on August 5th if you wish to arrive early and help with the setup.

Venue

The event will take place at Concordia University, at the John Molson School of Business.

The venue is right next to the Guy-Concordia subway station, on the Green line.

We have rented the following rooms, on the third floor of the building:

The rooms will be accessible from 9:00 to 22:30. On the 9th, you'll need to vacate before 17:00.

Accommodation

We do not provide accommodation and you will need to find a place to stay yourself.

Food

The venue is in downtown Montreal and there are a lot of different food options at walking distance.

Video Streaming and remote participation

You will be able to livestream the talks on https://video.debconf.org. The final videos will eventually be published on the Debian Video Archive and on Youtube.

For remote participation you can use IRC on irc.oftc.net by joining the channel

Registrations

Self-registration is mandatory. You can register online here.

Please note you will be able to register under a corporate registration if you want to support the event. We will invoice you for 200 CAD via SPI for the registration.

The MiniDebcamp is a perfect opportunity to host Debian sprints. We would welcome if teams assemble and work together on their projects.

Invoices will be issued by Software in the Public Interest, Inc. (SPI), a non-profit corporation under the laws of New York State. SPI has a tax-exempt status under section 501(c)3 of the United States Internal Revenue Code.

Invoices can be paid via bank transfer, credit card or ?PayPal.

Gold - 3,000 CAD // 2,300 USD

Silver - 2,000 CAD // 1,500 USD

Bronze - 1,000 CAD // 750 USD
