Debian Booth at FOSDEM 2010

Important Changes this Year

No distribution-specific DevRooms this year due to ENOTENOUGHROOMS, so no Debian DevRoom either. There will be a cross-distro DevRoom organized by Wouter Verhelst.
$/!\$ There won't be wired network at the booths. We need to bridge or NAT to WLAN for wired network.

Axel Beckert: Trying to organize the booth, will be there most of the time, but not during the KSP or my talk (Sun 15-16).
Stefano Zacchiroli: willing to attend the booth for a slot (not sunday 13-14 though, talk delivery in the distro room)
Joost van Baal: willing to attend booth on sunday (not during KSP (12:00 - 14:00))
EdwardMacnaghten: Willing to help out some of the two days
AlanWoodland: willing to help, 15:00-17:00 Sunday would fit well, can be more flexible though (not during KSP)
SylvainLeGall: willing to attend the booth for some periods
NeilMcGovern: willing to attend the booth for some periods
SebastianHarl: willing to attend the booth for some periods (not during KSP)
?FranziskaLichtblau: willing to attend the booth most of the time
ArneWichmann: willing to attend the booth most of the time
ThijsKinkhorst: willing to attend the booth for some periods

An EeeBox running Debian GNU/kFreeBSD (plus 23" TFT screen) (Axel Beckert)
An OpenBrick NG box, fanless x86 (via c3) (I need a display) SylvainLeGall (Axel will bring a standard 19" TFT screen for this one.)
Some SPARC hardware: probably a Netra X1 + old school VT terminal (Joost van Baal, stuff will be at booth on both days, unlike myself)

The booth "most probably" will be in the H building again.

Multi-socket power chords
- Axel brings a big one (8 full-size sockets or so) and a small one (3 full-size power sockets)
- Plentyn and Rhalina bring 2 small ones (4 full-size)
- Serafeim brings one with 5 full-size sockets
- SylvainLeGall brings a 5 full-size sockets
Printer: Axel brings his HP LaserJet 1320. (Worked out of the box with Lenny. )
Debian banners: Sledge and formorer both bring one.
Posters: "Mike Loves Debian" and "Worldmap of DDs" (Joost van Baal)

Table cloths: SylvainLeGall brings some black table cloths.../!\ polyester table cloth, better not have something very hot on it, though never tried.

Axel will bring some printouts of Myon's ingenius counting lists at http://www.df7cb.de/debian/strichliste/
Axel will bring an ASUS WL-500gP V2 ( $/!\$ still original firmware, no idea if that will work), a switch and some ethernet cables.
- If that doesn't work, his EeePC can provide NATted network as long as it's at the booth..
Axel brings some coat hangers to show off the t-shirts.

Axel and Luca Capello will bring from Switzerland:
- ca. 100 Debian.ch and "apt-get install anarchism" t-shirts.
- Debian and horned Debian (GNU/kFreeBSD) stickers

Show that Debian is not only yet another Linux distribution (done by having a kfreebsd box at the booth )
Show that Debian is also the base for many other niche distribution or live CDs, preferable those who are well connected to the Debian community, e.g. grml, sidux, Emdebian, GNUstep Live CD, etc.

Buying Tesa PowerStrips for posters, etc.
