About us

We follow the CustomDebian approach, ensuring Debian meets the needs of a subset of Debian users: in this case, Eee PC users. We make Debian itself run on your Eee, not a fork. See this [:DebianEeePC/Status:summary] about what has been achieved so far and where we are heading.

WARNING: We are working on some problems with version 2.6.26 of the Linux kernel on the Eee models 701, 900 and 900A. Please read ["DebianEeePC/Bugs/2.6.26"] before installing, as you need to be aware of how to deal with them.
