= Info on the eeePC 1000HA =
Externally similar to the [[DebianEeePC/Model/1000HE|1000HE]], just N270 based. Screen resolution 1024x600. Ships with a 160GB SATA hard drive and 1GB of RAM, upgradeable to 2GB. Only available with Windows XP Home pre-installed.  

Wireless is the Atheros AR242X, officially supported by both the madwifi and ath5k drivers, however the madwifi support is extremely buggy. Current best solution is to use [[Squeeze]], or upgrade to the [[DebianEeePC/HowTo/Upgrade#A2.6.30UpgradeIssues.2BAC8-tips|2.6.30 Backport kernel]] from [[sid]] and use ath5k, which is not present in the 2.6.26 kernel.
