Information

This meeting is a communication meeting about the future of Debian-Edu's administration tool.

We will see:

  • who has interest in working on an adminstration tool
  • which different imaginations we have

During the meeting we will try to find out

  • which ways we could go
  • where we could find a kind of consensus.

Keep in mind that we are not talking about user administration here. We need to think deeper. We need an easy way to administer:

  • users
  • services
  • machines
  • ....

This is not a meeting to talk about a UI for the tool at this point, it should be left to a later decision.

If you want to participate in this first discussion please fill in your name and your preferred days and time (keep in mind that it is GMT). After one week, Steffen Joeris will count the votes and decide when this meeting will take place. It will be scheduled in the second part of the April month.

Date

It seems that the 1. May (19:00 GMT) wins :) But I am currently not sure about the day, because it is 1. May. I gave you some days to write objections against the date, because i want to make sure that everyone, who is interested in working on this fiel, can attend.
