Documentation

How can you get started helping us write documentation?

Write and improve

Writing documentation is an excellent way to contribute – you can help millions of users understand the system and software better. Everyone with writing skills and understanding of the software at hand should contribute with documentation.

CVS access

All Skolelinux documents are stored in CVS – an archive system that keeps track of all changes in the documents. To modify or add documents to the archive you need CVS access, see this page for more information.

Coordination

We use mailing lists to coordinate our development efforts. Subscribe to one of our lists to get further information on how you can help. For more information see this page.

After releasing Skolelinux 3.0 in 2007, all ongoing documentation processes were moved to this wiki site.
