Technical Details
A theme consists of a set of small graphical parts of each part of the operating system. Gamma: Please gamma-correct all this artwork. 0.45 (not 2.2).
- Boot Screen
Isolinux: 640x300, 4bit (16 colors) view ?DebianDesktopMakeSysImageEtch
- Syslinux: 640x300, 16bit, file PNG (maybe {ext,sys}linux, plymouth/usplash?)
- GRUB 2: 640x480, 24bit, file PNG.
Splashy: 800x600, 16bit( 65536 colors) how create a theme splashy
Debian Installer: 800x75, 16bit (65536 colors) + a gtk theme to match the colours of the image (the theme must be stripped and default custom buttons will not be used - see the discussion about the stripped Bladr theme)
- GDM 3: only background in SVG file vetor.
- Desktop Wallpaper (suggest SVG file, and automake and resize)
- (1280x1024 or 2560x2048) 5:4 SXGA
- (1600x1200 or 2048x1536) 4:3 standard
