Debian Releases > Debian Bo


Bo is the code name for a former Stable Debian distribution. It was released on June 2nd, 1997 as Debian GNU/Linux 1.3, named for Bo Peep, the shepherdess in the Toy Story movies. This release consisted of 974 packages maintained by 200 developers. It was superseded by DebianHamm in 1998.

Bo is now obsolete and security updates aren't provided anymore.
