Elegance

The purpose of this design is to give Debian GNU/Linux a clear and valueable look.

I made a design for the outside (boot, login, logout, shutdown) and one for the inside (wallpaper).

The outside design is of a shimmering white. It consists of many tiny hexagons - a structure that looks scientific and organic at the same time. It should look fresh, modern and elegant.

On the inside you have a surface that looks like bruyere wood. The hexagons I used come from the free "Nanosuit" texture by blakegedye (thanks!); they make the background look flexible and warm like leather.

Everything is colored in sepia tones with the exception of a glance of blue behind the Debian Swirl - a symbol of energy and freedom (blue sky). The swirl is inside a silver sphere, which symbolizes perfection.

The goal is to have a design that makes a perfect impression, even in corporate environments.

Enjoy!

PS: With the exception of the GDM picture these are real screenshots, no mockups. So you can already use the Grub 2 and the Plymouth theme, if you like them.
