Mexico's weather is quite benign. In most of the country, it does not have the sharp contrasts you are used to in Europe, the US, or basically any non-tropical area. However, much of Mexico is quite high (over 1000 meters above sea level), so don't panic: It is not - and by a long shot - hot as hell. We are planning DebConf6 to be held in late spring (see ?DebConf6ProbableDates). Spring is the warmest season here, and in May we get the first rains. Now, the specific weather we can expect depends a lot on where will Debconf6 be held (see DebConf6ProbableVenues). Basically, the possibilites range between:

  • Mexico City, Puebla state: Expect 15 to 25 Celsius degrees
  • Morelos state: Expect 20 to 30 Celsius degrees
  • Veracruz and Guerrero states: Expect 25 to 35 Celsius degrees
