Cheese Monsters and Cheese gremlins
Cheese orga team are cheese monsters, but the cheese party require a lot of little helpers, they are called the cheese greemlins.

That is very historical and mostly left here to have a good laugh - Debian has a team for everything :P
- Cheese collection (collecting cheese and wines from people):

- Cheese cutting team (prepare and arrange stuff at the venue):
- Leftovers collection team (taking care of the leftovers after the party):

- Have ~X good kitchen knives

FAQ
Can I participate in the party (i.e., eat and drink) if I haven’t brought anything?
- Sure, you can. We do not require you to bring anything to share. However, the greater the cheesy variety, the better the party will be. If it is not possible to bring cheese or wine, you can buy some locally in Plouzané or Brest (see below), or you can bring some other food or drink typical of your region.
I couldn’t bring anything from home but would like to participate. Is there a way to do so?

I brought XXX and do not know where to store it!
- There are fridges in the dorms, and in the Camping too. Please, keep your cheese in your fridge, but also any beverage that need to be served refrigerated like juices and sodas, cider, beer, white and rosé wines etc. we will collect the goods on tuesday 15th
I forgot what I brought!
Please make sure your C&W submissions are listed in the wiki, and labelled, so that this does not happen.
Is there anything special I should do when bringing my C&W submissions?
- Please make sure all items are clearly identified. If the packaging does not say what you’ve brought, please label it yourself. The label should say what it is, where it comes from, and (if relevant) what it is made of.
- If your item unexpectedly contains allergens or things people may wish to avoid (e.g. shellfish, pork, alcohol), please point it out.
Vegans do not eat cheese. Can they still attend?
- Yes! We accept (and encourage) the submission of vegan friendly food (including vegan cheese).
I do not drink alcohol. Can I still attend?
- Yes! We will have water, sodas and juices too.
Where can I buy French or other foreign cheeses, in Plouzané ?
- Carrefour Plouzané as a great choice of cheese and wines but no There is no on site cut cheese section . It's 2,5km from the venue, accessible with the bibus line 11 stop at Kerarrouz or Kerhourlo.
- TY AR BLAZ - cave à vins, fromagerie et épicerie fine : they have a little cheese section with a lot of foreign cheeses from spain, netherlands, Eire, Italia... and France, also wines. It's 81 rue de Brest in Plouzané, not easy to go by public transportation because it's on the bibus line 10 and 21, sto Keramazé.
- Leclerc is a big hypermarket in the center of Brest, not far from the train station.16 Rue de la 2ème Db, 29200 Brest

Customs regulations
If you're traveling to France from abroad, please take a moment to check customs regulations before packing your goodies.
You're generally allowed to bring food items that don't contain meat or dairy. However, fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, and unpasteurized dairy products are usually prohibited.
These rules help protect local agriculture from pests and diseases - so it's best to double-check before you fly. Here's a helpful link from French Customs:
Tobacco and alcohol From outside EU : https://www.douane.gouv.fr/demarche/vous-rapportez-du-tabac-de-lalcool-ou-dautres-marchandises-achetees-hors-de-lunion Cigarettes: 200 units or Cigarillos: 100 units or Smoking tobacco: 250 g or Cigars: 50 units.
Still wines (non-sparkling): 4 liters and Beers: 16 liters and either beverages over 22°: 1 liter, or beverages 22° or less: 2 liters.

If you comply with these limits, you will not have to declare anything.
What will be available during the party?
Shops are available not too far away from the venue if you were not able to bring your favorite food or drink, e.g. Ty Ar Blaz and Carrefour
Please add your entry in alphabetical order. Please choose one, two, or exceptionally three, representative cheeses or food items from a place (list of cheeses).
It is recommended to target pieces that can be cut in about 10/20 slices/portions/whatever each.
We will try to label stuff based on the information pasted on this list, so please put everything here!
Considering that the food comes from different countries and languages, in order to speed up the efficiency and accuracy of labeling, labels will be printed and affixed on the food plates in advance before the party.
We encourage providers to fill in the food story introduction so that participants can understand the story behind the food.
