This is more of an idea than a bid at this stage, we need another DebConf in Western Europe, and hopefully Portugal could happen, but if it doesn't due to venue availability or other reasons, this could potentially be a backup. There's no local team yet, so one would still need to be established. Marc checked with Jugendherberge, venue is happy to have us again.
Why a repeat DebConf venue?
- We know it works
- Great location for European DDs
Potentially lower-stress for organisation the event, since it's familiar already, we did a whole DebConf as a site visit!
- Raccoons!
