Do you want to enjoy Korea and Busan but you don't have much time? Don't worry. The DebConf24 venue is not far from interesting tour spots. A few hours of free time will allow you a chance to visit a few interesting places in Busan.
Very short distance

- 10 minutes by walk from the venue. Free entrance.
- Are you from a country that participated as UN troops in Korean war? Then this is where you must visit while in Busan. Even when you are not (or even if you are from where was at the enemy side), you are still welcome and it will be a great experience on history.

Seeing the nature
- Gwangalli beach
- The nearby beach of course.
- 20 minutes by bus, 40 minutes by walk. Popular jogging course by many people.

Hwangnyeong mountain https://www.visitbusan.net/v/7AC
- The mountain at the north of the venue.
- Great view of the city at the top.
- If you like up-hill hikinng, you can climb up to the top in 40-50 minutes from a ground entrance.
- Great view also in a night. But it is advised to call a taxi in a night, to avoid getting lost or making a wrong step in a dark mountain.

- The coastal edge at south west from the venue. 30 minutes from the venue by walk.
- 2.5 hours of hiking course to the Southern edge.
- Do not forget to bring water and be hydrated.
Eating
- Around the venue
- In the college town around the venue, outside of the (western) main gate of PKNU or outside of the nothern passages.
- There are lots of restaurants and bars which are good and also relatively affordable compared to touristy places in Busan.

City tour program

- An easy way to see coastal scenes of Busan in a roofless bus. 2.5 hours to round a single course.
- It runs through major tourist spots. It's good to use it to visit several spots in a free day, or you can just enjoy the scene for a few hours and return to the venue.
- The ticket price is 20,000 KRW. Once you paid and get a wristband, you can use all the tour bus courses freely in that day.
