Debian Data Export (DDE)
DDE was discontinued.
Debian Data Export was a system to make it easy to publish data.
Getting started, quick & dirty
DDE publishes Debian information so that you can easily see what is available and get the data that you need in a variety of formats.
The quickest way to discover DDE is to visit one DDE site and browse around: every DDE setup is self-documenting, and has instruction on how to use it. Try for example have a look at http://dde.debian.net/dde/

Softwares/sites using DDE
- rapt-file (apt-file plugin)
- screenshots.d.o (due to unresolved timeout problems when getting large amounts of data it's currently using the APT-get'able repository information directly)
http://neuro.debian.net (querying package information and combining with Debian Blends task information)
