Debian Buster on Amazon EC2
SSH username
SSH to Debian instances as user admin using your SSH key, and then sudo -i to gain root access.

The initial publication of official Debian 10 (buster) AMIs for Amazon EC2 took place on 9 September, 2019. The AMIs are available for both arm64 and amd64 (x86_64) instance types in all public regions except those in in China. China and US GovCloud regional availability is planned for the future.
The AMIs are owned by AWS account ID 136693071363. Note that the is a different account than the one that publishes the stretch AMIs.

Image notes
HVM images only - current generation EC2 instances all support HVM virtualisation.
64-bit images only - current generation EC2 instances all support 64 bit; if you require 32 bit, please look at Multiarch
SR-IOV networking - Enhanced Networking (ENI)
ENA networking - Elastic Network Adapter
Multiple ENI support - DHCP client is configured to support the number of network interfaces the instance supports (up to 8), hot plugged with udev
AWS CLI is installed by default
Python-boto is installed by default
