Details
Location: Faculty of Computer Science, Dresden University of Technology, Dresden, Germany (room no. 1096, first story)
- Start: Fri 2nd Dec 2016, 4 PM
- End: open-end, same day (well, if we're extreme, until next day)
Bugs: user debian-release@lists.debian.org, usertags
If you require a Wifi login (because you don't have access to Eduroam), please contact Sebastian Humenda in advance (see email from the table) until roughly 28 hours before the event. You will get a guest account. We will also try to organize something for spontaneous guests, but that won't have 300 MB/s to the Debian mirror :).
If you cannot make it for the evening, please be so kind to contact me (Sebastian Humenda), because I'd like to get an overview about how many people in the region are interested.
Promotion
Please link to mails, blog posts, tweets or other promotion done for the event.

Reports
The number of bugs fixed is not tremendous, but the BSP itself was a huge success: new people have started contributing to Debian and have been made more familiar to Debians development process(es). Among others, the following bugs have been adressed:
808420 (systemd scripts missing)
838778 (libatk-wrapper crashes)
838665 (python-speechd breaks unrelated software)
845742 (yade: FTBFS)
846550 (firefox-esr: download disappearing)
821036 (oath-toolkit: FTBFS)
We have made a photo, too. Unfortunately, only some of us are on it (others left already):
Schedule And Coordination
- meet 4 PM
- roughly 5 PM: key signing
- roughly 7 PM: order pizza
Please coordinate development on irc.debian.org in #bsp-dd-2016. We will lock bugs which we work on there. Otherwise we risk race conditions ;).
If you don't use IRC yet, there are plenty of clients available, e.g. pidgin on X or irssi for the command line.

Food And Drink
There will be a crate of Club Mate and a crate of (sparkling) water available. For both we'd need a small donation, since we don't have sponsors. Tap water, English (black) tea and the usage of the kettle are free of charge :).
We will order BIG pizzas and distribute that among the people -- that will make things easier. Pizza will cost roughly 5-6 €.
Transport
Location of the room in the TU Dresden Campus Navigator
- For public transportation, you have quite a few options. A lot of local and long-distance trains go to Dresden. They also depart until late in the evening, so e.g. you could stay with us roughly until 20:30, if you're heading back to Leipzig.
- Within Dresden, the tram line 3 and the buses 85, 66 and also 61 are not too far away. From the train station, the 3 is probably the easiest solution.
- If you take the tram 3, you can choose to change at either Münchner Platz or Rathaus Plauen. From Münchner Platz, you just need to cross the road uphill in the direction of Georg Schuhmann Straße. This street ends in a road called Nöthnitzer Straße, which is already the correct street. There you have to turn left and after some metres, you'll spot the big green building on the right-hand side.

If you require accommodation, contact Sebastian Humenda. We will try to find a solution.

Fresh Volunteers
Debian has a "newcomer" bug tag used to indicate bugs which are suitable for new contributors to use as an entry point to working on specific packages. There are quite a few newcomer bugs available.
