Transport
Alcester can be reached by bus, but they tend to be inconvenient. Nearest stations are about ten miles away.
From the North: find the southerly ring of the M42, and then take the A435 (J3) through Studley, Coughton and to Alcester. Leave the A435 after Coughton at the large roundabout with the B4089, B4090 and take the Birmingham Road into Alcester.
From the East: aim for Warwick, and take the A46 westbound past Stratford-upon-Avon and towards Alcester. Do not follow a sat-nav if it suggests leaving the A46 on the A3400 (could happen at a large roundabout - go straight over, do not turn right). Continue along the A46 up Red Hill, past the Stag pub and down the steep slope. After several junctions and a lay-by on the right, the road widens. Look out for a white sign directing you to the right towards Oversley Green with a weight restrictions. Turn right towards Oversley, following the Stratford Road and later Trench Lane into Alcester.
From the South: use the M40 and then proceed as above from Warwick.
From the West/SW: use the M5 and A46 north-bound past Evesham and Bidford, and at the large roundabout take the A435 northbound. At the small roundabout following the bridge, turn right into Alcester.
Accommodation and food
There is no guest accomodation at the house. The Swan Hotel has been acceptable on previous occasions, and is very convenient.
Tea/(instant) coffee/cold drinks provided. If you have preferences, like real coffee, please bring them. For food, Alcester has a selection of pubs and restaurants we can visit, unless people fancy trying to cook in what's left of my kitchen.
Bring
Please consider bringing the following items:
- laptop computers
network cable (there is good wireless, but cables will trip people)
- power adaptors
- power bars
There is a local mirror of amd64+i386 for Wheezy, Jessie and Sid (plus some others). If you'd like anything else exotic, please bring it on a USB drive and it can be served from the mirror.

Bugs
Removed from Jessie
774838 - weboob - removed from testing earlier than original autoremoval. (codehelp)
774630 - midgard2-core - accelerated
Worked on / responded to
756253 - grub-efi-amd64 - clarified that one of the "me too" responses is not actually the same bug, followed up to OP to see if I can help debug.
773029 - groonga - request less invasive patch prepared by maintainer for sponsorship
773626 - libav - summarised which CVEs are not relevant, already have upstream patches and still need fixes.
764798 - grub2-common - working to reproduce and debug
774366 - ploader - investigated RC bug, found that wxwidgets API changes is the cause; agreed with maintainer that we may as well drop it - there are other RC bugs too.
Downgraded
765540 - grub-pc - initial problem report caused by user config error. It would be nice to make it harder to get wrong, but that's not RC
774316 - openldap - succeeded in upgrading from wheezy to jessie with a minimal LDAP database.
764798 - grub2-common - reproduced, confirmed the problem is caused by BIOS limitations, downgraded and responded to reporter.
771205 - libgtk-3-0 - limited to scaling to less than 100% when printing from Gtk, not release critical.
726661 - openssh-server - lack of response to moreinfo on an unreproducible bug, lowered severity to important.
774724 - whyteboard - work-aroundable, not convinced it's key functionality; downgraded to important
Patched
761815 - partman-target - patch in git, waiting a little for feedback before uploading.
Upload to delayed
775062 - grok - tested the patch resulting from the bisect in the bug report, formed into a patch and nmudiff. Delayed2. (codehelp)
747863 - nut - ported the Ubuntu change to drop the upstream systemd files and allow sysvinit fallback support. Delayed4. (codehelp)
775375 - python-django - applied upstream security fixes and tested. Uploaded to delayed-4. (codehelp)
775350 - util-linux - patch to handle symlink_to_dir properly
748657 - make-dfsg - Skip fopen-fail test as it is machine-dependent. Delayed4 (codehelp)
Upload to unstable
774313 - libapache2-mod-auth-pgsql - applied patch from Launchpad to set freed pointers to NULL before the pointer is checked against NULL. (codehelp)
