What to bring
- Computer/Notebook, network cables, power cords
Adapter for swiss power plugs, if you have one. Switzerland uses Type J plugs, you can plug your Europlug (Type C) equipment there, but German "Schuko" (Type F) plugs wont fit. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AC_power_plugs_and_sockets
- Sleeping bag, no matress needed (if you stay at the BSP location)
- Things you need for a weekend
How to get there
Train: The easiest way to reach the venue is to go by train to Bern main station. If you tell gaudenz@debian.org your exact time of arrival I'll pick you up at the station.
Car/Parking: If you insist in coming by car, you have to park your car in the city. "Schützenmatte" and "Metro Parking" are the closest parkings to the venue. The venue itself is only reachable by foot. the closest place reachable by car is approx. 200m away below the Kornhausbrücke. See this map. We have a trolley to carry your stuff to the venue if needed.
What needs to be organized, help appreciated!!
I don't plan to organize the BSP alone. Help would really be appreciated. Please write your name next to an item if you volunteer to help with this task.
- Contact potential sponsors (Google, ...) Sponsoring needed for:
- Food

- Infrastructure, Do we need a Debian mirror?, Connectivity, Cables, Switches, Wireless
- OdyX: if needed/wanted, I can bring a small computer with me which could serve as Debian mirror proxy (approx), + I can bring some cables, a wifi router, 220 V cords, etc. Contact me.
- Food (There is a kitchen at the location or we could go to a restaurant)
Bugs, Targets, Ideas
- Please check if nobody else is working on a bug before you begin hacking!
Make sure you use bts claim to claim bugs you want to work on.
Also check bts.turmzimmer.net for comments on the bug status. Add comments there if you have information to add.
- Use #debian-bugs on the OFTC IRC Network for live coordination as needed
Release-critical bugs affecting Squeeze:
Miscellaneous other targets:
Find obsolete and unmaintained packages in unstable and file RoQA removal bugs.
- Squash everything else you don't like (but let the DDs live)
