pre-etch release BSP in Zürich

We are going to join the [wiki:BSPMarathon BSPMarathon] with two bug-squashing parties in Zurich. The main one will be on the weekend of 06-08 October 2006. A small BSP will take place on [#head-6be509d56cce9212d34c5d8a62d48ed4c1022730 Saturday, 09 September 2006] as well.

Both events take place in the

Cluster room of the Artificial Intelligence Lab
University of Zürich
Andreasstrasse 15
8050 Zürich

which is [http://map.search.ch/8050-zuerich/andreasstr-15 here]. The nearby station is "Bahnhof Oerlikon".

Infrastructure

Plenty of space in the room

Real fast connection directly to ftp.ch.debian.org and the Internet2. No outgoing ports blocked. Bring your own network cable, and a switch/hub if you can! I will try to get WLAN set up.

A limited number of machines are available for our use. Please let me know in advance if you cannot bring a laptop and thus need a machine to work on: ?MailTo(madduck AT debian DOT org)

Facilities, the station, restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance.

Supplies

Thanks to our sponsors (see above), we can provide food and (non-alcoholic) drinks for all attendees. Please let me know if you need special arrangements: ?MailTo(madduck AT debian DOT org)

Travel reimbursement

If you know you need travel reimbursement, please contact me and let me know an approximate amount as soon as possible. Funds are limited. ?MailTo(madduck AT debian DOT org)

I need receipts for everything, and all expenses must be pre-approved.

Accomodation

Fill in your name if you need a place to sleep. Fill in the "staying with" column when you found one. Arrange with your host whether to bring sleeping bag and/or mat.

06-08 October

This will be the official Debian BSP in Zurich. You can join us remotely on the #debian-bugs/irc.debian.org IRC channel.

Note that I would prefer to restrict the number of attendants to 10 in the interest of productivity. However, I do not want to exclude anyone. Do note that the event is about "bug squashing" and not "party".
