• Date: 8.-10. September 2006

• Location: Don Bosco Studentenwohnheim http://www.donbosco.sth.ac.at/

• Accommodation: directly in the dorms, up to 16 persons, 3-4 people per double room, available friday afternoon to sunday 10:00
• Place to hack: seminar room directly at the dorms, available friday to sunday (all day)
• Meals: free for all attendees
  • Breakfast: 7:00 - 9:00
  • Sandwiches, soft drinks, ... are available directly at the seminar room
  • Lunch/Dinner: to be arranged (Pizza, Schnitzl, we'll think of something for Vegetarians)
• Network:
  • 6 mbit/s uplink to the University of Vienna
  • Ports 25 and 80 are blocked, but there's a http proxy and a smtp relay in place
  • Needed: MAC adresses of attendees so they can be allowed to connect to the switch ports (if you absolutely can't provide the MAC beforehand that's not a big problem, but it would be nice if we had most of them at least a few days before the BSP)
• Mirror: An i386 and amd64 Mirror is already there and it looks like we'll be able to bring a ppc Mirror too.
• Please bring power cords and power extension as well as long patch cables - we won't have wireless
• about half of the sleeping facilities require sleeping bags as we will host 4 people in 2 bed rooms

Take the underground line U3 to the station "Kardinal-Nagl-Platz". When you exit the train, you have to choose the exit "Kardinal-Nagl-Platz" (when using the train direction "Simmering" it is in driving direction). At the top of the stair turn to the left and cross the little park (at the left in the picture).

Then cross the street and follow the "Drorygasse" (between the bakery "Ströck" and the solarium) to the next crossroads (you will see a phone box), then turn right and follow the "Hagenmüllergasse" until you reach the orange house with blue windows (and marble-like paneling at the bottom). It is labelled "Studentenheim Don Bosco Hotel". Enter the big blue door (where the hotel reception is) and call me at extension 408 or my mobile phone +43 650 6831450.
