My Debian Activities
I became a Debian Developer in 1997, and began doing Chinese i18n/L10n related work with website and packaging. In those early years, I also packaged MusiXTeX, OpusTeX, and LilyPond (lilypond) for Debian.
More recently, I became interested in Hugo the static website generator written in Go. I started contributing to Hugo on ?GitHub, and began packaging hugo (and some of its dependencies) for Debian in December 2015.
Some of my work at Thiz
During my stay at Thiz Technology Group (who made ?ThizLinux), I got to work with:
- Chinese related i18n/L10n issues, e.g. contribution of GB18030 codec to Qt in 2002
- Hardware enablement for notebooks and desktops
- Embedded Linux on ARM and MIPS based netbooks and set-top boxes
