Andrew Ballantine

Andrew has been in the computer industry for rather a long time. He started in 1966 working for ICT (later ICL) as a trainee operator on 1900 systems (2nd generation computers).

Soon moved the programming for medical research and got very interested in ?RSX11M (the operating system for ?PDP11 hardware). From then on Andrew has been involved in analysis, design, programming, documentation of a variety of user projects.

Currently consulting to ?SMBs (Small Medium Business) to convert them from Microsoft to Linux. As an offshoot from this work he is trying to feed back information, documentation and ideas to the Debian community.
