What's needed to have proper udeb support?
This page tries to list the remaining pieces to get proper udeb support.
dpkg
- proper integration, in most places dpkg (the suite) does not know anything about udebs, as the support has been built on the upper layers instead
udeb format?
- revisit discussion about Package-Type field in binary udeb packages
- field to note that "parts" are copied into initrd (to make staying GPL compliant be enforcable automatically)
- use of Conflicts?
