New Member Front Desk

Role description

The Front Desk is the team that runs the New Member process and supports DAM. Current members of the Front Desk are shown on the Debian Organization Structure page. You can contact the Front Desk at nm@debian.org.

Activities of the team include:

Acting as points of contact and support for Application Managers, applicants, advocates and everyone involved in the New Member process
Assigning AMs to applicants
Dealing with collab-maint join requests
Dealing with requests for temporary porter accounts
Checking AM reports for consistency and handing them over to DAM
Ensuring that the NM process runs smooth
Managing the New Member web interface, database, mailing aliases and other infrastructure

Front Desk members are DPL delegates (as per Debian Constitution §8). The current delegation text is available.
