In order to configure a Debian system using the GNOME desktop environment to use Ipredator, perform the following steps:

  1. Install network-manager-pptp-gnome.
  2. Click on the Network Manager icon.

  3. Select the VPN Connections -> Configure VPN... menu option.

  4. Select the Create... button.
  5. Change the Connection name option to "Ipredator".
  6. Enter "vpn.ipredator.se" in the Gateway field.
  7. Enter your Ipredator account user name and password in the corresponding fields.
  8. Select the Advanced... button.
  9. Select the "Use Point-to-Point encryption (MPPE)" option.
  10. Select "128-bit (most secure)" for the Security option.
  11. Select the OK button.
  12. Select the Apply button.
